NBA All-Star James Donaldson conducts basketball clinic for over 1,000 schoolchildren in Jilin, China – October 28th 2011

I had the most wonderful time touring around China during the month of October.  Here is an article of me doing a basketball camp in Jilin, China on October 28th for over 1,000 children at Number 2 Experimental Primary School.  They’re known for their outstanding basketball skills as well as their high level of academics.  It was a great experience for me and everyone!

Young people around the world are hearing about my Standing Above the Crowd book as I am sharing insights with them on how to be the best they can be!  Soon the book will be translated into Manderin Chinese for the non-English speaking children (of which there are quickly becoming fewer and fewer as they are stressing the children to learn English in the classroom) in mainland China.

Here’s the link http://www.jcwbw.com/showart.php?id=1680

A rough translation of the article is:

November 28, Jilin City Experimental Primary School ushered in a second height of 2.18 m of the big man, he is retired American NBA player James Donaldson. James Donaldson was born in 1957, 14 in effect set the NBA, has played for Seattle, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks and Utah Jazz. In 1988, participated in the NBA All-Star Game.

Enjoy!
