I had a great time this morning having breakfast with my ‘ol coach, Coach Lenny Wilkens. He’s looking great and doing well.
He gave me a great history lesson of what he faced as a young player in the NBA, playing with St. Louis Hawks. Wow, we think we have racial issues now a days, he had to live through and deal with the “real in your face stuff” back then.
We have breakfast every month and he’s just the greatest, mentor, friend, role model and coach (outside of my own Dad) that I’ve ever known. I’m blessed to have him in my life.
