Every now and then, I take to the streets of Seattle to actually talk to “the people”. I find it so enlightening because it gives me a first-hand account of what’s going on and “what the word on the street is”.
Here I am talking to Barry, who has been on the streets for 21 years! Great conversation and very interesting.
I think the best way to handle the homeless crisis is, more housing, intervention with treatments for mental health and substance abuse. Also, those who do actually commit crimes, (albeit, most of it is petty crime…) take them off the streets and mandate treatment or incarceration.
I ask for your support as I continue my campaign for Seattle City Council.
