A quick but relatively insightful look at the “Rise of Isis”. The terrorist group that is arisen in the Middle East. The book focuses on the beginning of Isis and it’s spreading from other so-called terrorist group supportive States over the last 20 years or so (especially since 9/11), and going into their philosophical ways of thinking and issues that they are trying to work on. It’s no secret that they don’t very much appreciate the “Western Ways” of doing things and any kind of Western influence that they feel is infiltrating into their world.
A must-have for anyone who wants to better understand the conflict that exists in the middle east, this well-researched and fully annotated volume is invaluable in revealing how this new brand of terrorism poses a very real threat to Americans and the world at large. It also serves as a guide to what we as individuals – and as a nation – can do to stop this escalating violence, prevent jihad, and protect Israel and America from this imminent threat.
All in all it was a very insightful book that help me to understand more so the group think and the mentality of Isis. The world is very much into acting and reacting in order to prevent Isis from creating all the different states throughout the Muslim world I learned a lot.
