James Donaldson’s Book Review – Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass: An American Slave by Frederick Douglass

Frederick DouglasThis was an in-depth and insightful portrayal of the life of Frederick Douglass. A man who was born in the slavery, educated himself, escaped from slavery and along the way was able to encounter experiences that gave him a “broader view” of what the institution of slavery was all about.

Very good book, and I learned a lot about the day-to-day living and lifestyle, so the actual slaves back in the day.
