Lost Civilizations, was a nice book about ancient civilizations that have come and gone, many without hardly a trace, and some with engineering marvels that continue to amaze to this day.
We’ve all heard of the lost city of Atlantis, the ancient Mayan civilization, the Egyptians who built the pyramids, and many others, all of them with their unique identities, and many times, discovered thousands of years later with just the decaying infrastructure in place.
If you like history, you’ll enjoy reading this book. The author has a nice way of detailing and telling the story of each of these lost civilizations, to make it interesting and fun reading.
