Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention
I’m getting ready for my book release this summer regarding mental health and suicide prevention, detailing my own personal journey (anxiety, depression and suicidal ideations) of going through some very difficult times in 2018.
It took me 12 months to work through it all, and now I devote all of my time to being a voice and advocate for mental health awareness.
My foundation, Your Gift of Life Foundation, is going to act as a conduit for those who need mental health resources and I will be able to direct them to the appropriate place to recieve help.
I will also be traveling the country (once school resumes), and speaking, specifically, to students and young people, about how to overcome the mental challenges they might be going through, and to encourage them to hang in there, seek help, and work their way through.
Your Gift of Life Foundation www.yourgitoflife.org is a 501(c)3, non profit, tax deductible organization, and I would like to ask you to contribute and donate to it, as much as you feel comfortable doing.
I would be very appreciative!
I just added a “donate” button to my website http://www.yourgiftoflife.org and you can find it by going to the website, reading about all of the things that I am doing, and clicking on the donate button. I’ll be doing a Facebook fundraiser for charitable organizations soon.
Thank you so much. You’ll also find my blog that I send out everyday, which pertains to mental health and suicide prevention, and I encourage you to sign up for it, and receive a daily email from my blog directly to you.
All of us have gone through the “sheltering in place” ordeal, and mental health issues will be coming to the surface for so many of us, and those we love. I personally have fielded many phone calls and have had many conversation with people who are struggling, and that’s what I am here for, to help and support as much as I can.
Please support my efforts, and I really appreciate you all.
