I read this book because I was interested in some of the history of Ethiopia. I have many friends from Ethiopia who live here in the Seattle area, and so it was good to get a glimpse into their culture, their homeland and history.
I learned quite a bit about Ethiopian culture, and also about the history of the Civil War’s that took place in the country. The book also talked about some of the involvements from Italy, and also the perspective that Ethiopia has pertaining to Israel.
